I was just a little girl born in a small village called Nemesedu Kono, Sierra Leone. My mother and I used to go to other villages to buy food items and carried them back, the purchased items atop our heads, transporting on foot back to bring them home and resell them. Since then I had a big dream, that I will be my own boss. One day I discovered I was born with a gift. That gift became my passion. Cooking is my outlet and has turned into my way of life, my culture. I have triumphed over many trials and tribulations that have turned me into the strong and determined woman I am today. I did not give up on that dream, it stays with me and I work very hard to achieve it, and finally, my god is answering my prayers, my dream has come to pass. I would like to say a special thanks to family, friends, and all of those who have helped me along the way for the role they have played in this dream. I would like to share it with those who want to join me on this journey.
